Langkawi - waterfall and cable car

Wednesday afternoon we went to a waterfall. The cab dropped us off at an area with some shops and food stands and we had a short hike up a hill to the falls.

We could see the cable car ride in the distance!

We planned to do the cable car ride Thursday afternoon but the huge rain and thunder storm nixed that plan... so we squeezed it in Friday morning before catching our flight back to Kuala Lumpur. I'm so glad we were able to do it still... the views up top were great - we even saw neighboring Thailand in the distance (but the photos didn't turn out so well because it was so cloudy).

That is the waterfall we were at 2 days before!

Once we reached the top, there was another short cable car ride over to the another side. We didn't have time but the bridge on the right looked really cool - you can walk down some steps from the top two platforms to reach the Sky View Bridge.
