watching the storm from Kat's balcony

My friend Kat and I had plans a couple weekends ago... I met her at her apartment building in the early afternoon... just as big rain drops started to drip-drop. I had just enough time to pull into her building's garage before it started to downpour.

We decided to hold off on our plans for a bit and watch the storm from her apartment's balcony. It was great. She has a lovely two-bedroom place on the 12th floor... a wonderful view... and then we even curled up on the couch for a while and read together.

Lovely afternoon... and then we still made it to our original plans once the rain was done!  : D

I'm really going to miss this girl!!
