Inside there was a machine to grind corn... a lot of corn hanging from the rafters... and barrels of indigo dye for the fabrics (which had been used to make many items to sell out front). The little house had two kitchens... one up front as the 'winter' kitchen (photo below)... and one towards the back of the house.
