Hoi An - Streets restaurant ...and more

Elizabeth and I ate dinner at Streets one night. I LOVE the concept of this restaurant. ...The owner is an American chef who is taking kids in from the streets of Vietnam and teaching them how to cook, as well as teaching them about customer service and the English language, through an 18-month program. The service and food were both outstanding and the kids working were very proud to be there.

You can learn more about Streets and visit the website by clicking here.

The food was GREAT! The owner was talking with us for a while and he even said that he had just changed up the recipe to the sauce on my pasta because it is made with fresh, local seafood and the sauce has to change along with what seafood is available throughout the year... awesome.

Some of the other restaurants in Hoi An look a bit different than Streets... (haha!)...

This lady's huge pot of soup looked really good!

Sometimes some of the best-tasting food (and cheapest!) is the street food.   :)
