The assembly included funny awards (like the student with the heaviest backpack, the loudest student, the teacher-tester, the best ROCK STAR, etc. etc.)... as well as farewells to the 8th graders and departing teachers.
A group of the 8th-grade students made school t-shirts for each teacher... saying goodbye... very sweet and VERY funny seeing some of the guys in these tiny school uniform shirts!
An amazing 7th grader, Tony, (I hope you're reading this Tony!!)... read a beautiful farewell / congratulations note to the 8th graders. He wrote it himself and ended in the loudest cheers of the day!!
