driving from Wanaka to Queenstown, NZ - part 1

Lenny said that I must go over the pass when driving from Wanaka to Queenstown for a day... and how right he was!! It is a MUST do.

The Crown Range Road is gorgeous... including some crazy hairpin turns... and multiple stellar views.

The first photo below is the beginning of the trip out of Wanaka and beautiful wild flowers...

The day started out very gray and rainy. I couldn't believe how quickly the skies cleared up as soon as I got on the road! Awesome!
