Tracy's 1st day in Nam!

Tracy's flight landed this morning just before 2:00am... we slept for a bit (after catching up, giggling, and ...giggling!)... then got up around 8:00am to begin her first day in Vietnam.

Taken about 3:00am   :P
(My apartment is basically empty... all is packed...
...so we added the rooster behind us for decor, ha!)

We packed a lot into today and she was a trooper to stay up all day until 8:30pm! (...9:30am her time in the States.)

We cruised around the city... seeing the main buildings (Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, Saigon Opera House, People's Committee Building, Ben Thanh Market, etc.). We went in Ben Thanh for a few... and then met up with Jen for coffee and treats at Paris Baguette.

From there... we did a bit of fabric shopping and then brought them to the tailor to have a dress and couple skirts made. I'm excited to see how they turn out for her once we're back from Hoi An (we fly out tomorrow mid-day!).

Then we cruised to the Ho Thi Ky Flower Market in District 10... picked up a couple dozen roses for Thy (library assistant at AIS)... and went by school.

Our day continued... next post...
