biking, boats, and beautiful views

On our way back into town from the beach we took a little detour along the river... it's a tiny path that is nice to ride along, as it gave us a glimpse into the more traditional, local side of Hoi An and the natives that live here. The town of Hoi An has definitely learned to cater to the tourists... but along the river, we were the only Westerners... it was quiet... and everyone seemed to enjoy exchanging a xin chao (hello) with us...

We rode along the path that you can see a bit of on the right-hand side of the picture below... this is a view from the bridge crossing over the river (as we headed back towards the town of Hoi An).
