EPIC

I don't love the dog-eared page in the picture below... but I do love the post-it note that I found in this book while checking it back in to the library:

A term that has spread through our school like crazy and grown to be very popular is...

"EPIC!" (...in terms of something being awesome!)

Sometimes it is even an EPIC WIN!

Patrice and I both got a good laugh out of this... and how EPIC it is for a note found in a book.

This book, The Angel Experiment, by James Patterson, which is the first book in the Maximum Ride series. This has become one of the most popular book series amongst the 7th graders! Patrice (the 7th grade English teacher) looked at this note... then the page... and said, "Well, yeah... it is EPIC... because this page is awesome!" (or something along those lines)
